Do not click the ‘submit’ button until you are sure that there is nothing in the scenario remaining - like shipping or handling. Sites that direct you to a “shipping discount” or “future discount” subsystem will often be doing that so that your click will give them access to your credit card data - including your security code (on the back of your card) - that will allow them to make purchases with it. Make sure that you obtain, print and retain all receipts, acknowledgments and order numbers.
